The Problem
Coatbridge City only had a Facebook page to keep parents and players up to date with the goings on at the club. This became an issue when certain parents weren’t on Facebook and weren’t able to see the page. This is were the website comes in, this gives the club the chance to point parents in the direction of the website for their blog, team news and other bits and bobs. The club will also send out a quarterly newsletter via email.
Results
Within the website launching the club had 10+ subscribers to the newsletter on the website which will be handled by MailChimp. The club also got enquiries for new players that want to join the club and even a few enquiries about people looking for opportunites to sponsor the club.
We absolutely love our new Coatbridge City website created by William Dowling. From the start, William made the whole process so simple – I gave him a few ideas of what I wanted, and not only did he deliver them, but he also added his own professional touch and creative flair.
The result is a site that looks fantastic, is easy to navigate, and really captures the spirit of our club. William designed and built it all by himself, and the end product speaks volumes about his talent and attention to detail.
